Khaing Nwe Phoo, MHA serves as Associate Administrator for the Department of Anesthesiology at UVA Health. Inspired by her parents’ work running a clinic in Myanmar, she pursued healthcare leadership to improve access, kindness, and compassion in care delivery. In her role, Khaing focuses on operational excellence, quality improvement, community engagement, and supporting teams to thrive in an academic medical center.
Through CVHEG, she is passionate about building connections, mentoring emerging leaders, and fostering collaboration that strengthens both professionals and the communities they serve.
