Carlos O. Brown is a seasoned healthcare executive with over three decades of leadership experience in real estate, construction, and facilities management within complex healthcare environments. As Senior Director of Planning, Real Estate and Construction at Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, Carlos leads the strategic execution of capital projects that support clinical innovation, operational efficiency, and patient- centered care.
Carlos holds a Master of Health Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Virginia Commonwealth University’s Medical College of Virginia. He is an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on the board of the Central Virginia Healthcare Executive Group. A recognized leader and mentor, Carlos has contributed to numerous leadership initiatives, including the Grace E. Harris Leadership Institute and the 4D Leadership Series.
