The Central Virginia Healthcare Executives Group (CVHEG), a local independent chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), is the professional membership society for healthcare executives. We represent more than 900 members hailing from 64 of 95 counties and 18 of 38 independent cities in Virginia — serving Central Virginia, Southern Virginia, and the Virginia Mountains, most of the Chesapeake Bay, the Shenandoah Valley, and Southwestern Virginia, including the Blue Ridge Highlands, and some of the Northern Virginia region. Our purpose is fourfold: to meet our members’ professional, educational, and leadership needs; to promote high ethical standards and conduct; to advance healthcare leadership and management excellence; and to promote the mission of ACHE.
